Second Christmas Quilt – 2011

For my second Christmas quilt I am doing a rather unusual appearing one called ‘Twilight’.  I was attracted to the quilt because I like the ‘non-straight’ lines of the different triangles and I thought it was pretty and unusual.  I had a difficult time sewing the curves but I got better as I went along.

Once I made the curvy blocks, it pieced together a lot like the wedding ring quilt I finished for my first quilt.  The colors are unusual and I never would have thought to pick them, but the quilt came out beautiful and now I just hope the person I am giving it to likes it as much we do.

This quilt is really impressive! The curves look so difficult, but like anything else, the more you do the easier it gets. Love the colors you chose.
